Copenhagen's Grand Day: Royal Castles & Coastal Gems

We had the best day with Hamlet Tours. Sillas was an exceptional tour guide with so much historical knowledge. His humour was hilarious and we had many laughs. The 3 cities and sites we went to were stunning. Snow everywhere so it looked beautiful. Cannot recommend this tour enough. A must for first timers in Copenhagen. Thank you again Sillas for a great day!

Sillas was fantastic. Just the right amount of history, subtle humor, direction to stay on schedule. Very personable and the 8.5 hour tour flew by. Very enjoyable experience.

On a very cold day, our guide, Silas, took very good care of my group and was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed seeing the different cities and sites outside of Copenhagen.

Our guide Sillas was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the region. Was a real bonus being picked up from our hotel. This full day tour spent the perfect amount of time at each venue so the day went really quickly without feeling neither rushed or dragging on (although in fairness we did come in the middle of winter so maybe on a lovely summer day we might have appreciated more time outdoors). Travel time never exceeded 45 minutes between locations so the balance between travel and walking around the sites is bang on. The castles are incredible and well worth venturing out of the city to see, I think it would have been a shame to come all this way and not have seen them.

Highly recommend this tour. A well planned day which covered so much. Sillas was a great guide who clearly had a passion for Danish history and a great sense of humour. We were a family travelling with 3 generations ranging from 11 to 78 years old and there was something for everyone. Thanks Sillas for a great day…..now the kids can’t stop seeing C4 everywhere we go ☺️

It is a tour with broad variety and great information. Our driver and guide, Sillas, was amazing: articulate, high-energy, and thoughtful. His enthusiasm and knowledge are remarkable!

The tour was the visit to Kronborg, Frederiksborg Castle and Roskilde It was a very well planned day, with a lot of historical information presented in a very pleasant and comprehensive way. Very nice 3 target destinations and magnificent views on the way. The time is of course very limited and schedule very strict.

This was a great tour - full day but perfect way to pack in a bunch of “must see” sights outside of Copenhagen. Very nice door-to- door pick and drop-off from individual hotel. Small van. Our guide today, Sillas, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and engaging. …Trust his recommendation to eat lunch at Cafe Valentin!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my "grand day trip" out of Copenhagen. We hit on some excellent sites, learned a ton from our stellar guide Thomas (knowledgeable, hilarious), and got to see some of the beautiful countryside. While 9 hours might seem long, the time flew by. The ride was comfortable, we didn't linger too long in any one place (our guide kept us together and on track), and had time for a lunch break at a midpoint. I highly recommend this tour -- it's worth your time and money to do something so unique in such an efficient manner. I'm grateful I got to do this on my visit to Denmark.
