Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. She has a very pleasant personality. Providing a little snack during the tour was wonderful. It’s about 2 1/2 hour walking tour so wear comfortable shoes especially part of the walk will take you uphill.

Very enjoyable tour, with a good variety of things to look at including architecture, history and murals. Our guide, Mel, was excellent, and I’d highly recommend her.

The tour was everything as described. Jeff took us to so many different neighbourhoods in Montreal. Shared the rich history of Montreal from the beginning until the present day. The pace was perfect for anyone. The stop for a bao bun and coffee at the end was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this tour to anyone. The recommendation for places to eat and activities was appreciated. Thank you, Gabriela

Do this tour! Having only a short time in Montreal I wanted to get the lay of the land and a feel for the real Montreal, beyond the tourists sites. I preference this with... I do not do tours. When I travel I research so that I can dive in deep to a culture staying away for tourist culture. But, this was a great opporutuntiy to see the authentic city in a short time, while still enjoying the wonder of the basilica. Mel was a great guide, educating us on history old and new. She was a wealth of information. We started with Old Town Montreal where she gave a us a fabulous history! Then an introduction to the underground which was fascinating, showing us a piece of the Berlin Wall. Then we popped into Chinatown and had a Bao Bun, delicious. And we finished in a super hip neighborhood having a coffee and enjoying the wealth of murals. I think this is the most painted town I have ever seen. And the murals were of incredible quailty. Mel gave us a really good introduction to Montreal. And tastings too. I would love to go back and do the foodie tour next time. Thank you so much. I highly reccomend tours with Spade and Palacio. Just what I wanted and needed. Thank you so much.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Danny is a great tour guide and we loved the Beyond the Basilica Tour! Not only was the tour a wonderful experience, Danny's recommendations for restaurants and places to visit did not disappoint. We followed his recommendations for 3 different restaurants and they were all absolutely delicious. Highly, highly recommend!
