Rose Island Paradise: Unforgettable Beach Day & Snorkel Tour

Great choice. Everything was perfect. Friendly staff and good food. We really enjoyed it. Fun time away from the crowds.

Fun day at Rose Island! We did the 6 hour tour and we had a wonderful time. The staff was so professional, fun and took very good care of all of us. The pigs are safe, clean and very well mannered. Lunch was even good! The beach was clean and had no problems. There are a lot of stairs but not horrible. I highly recommend!

What a great experience!! I cannot say enough about this tour! The boat ride over to the island was smooth and beautiful. When we got to the island we were greeted by the amazing staff and the piggies! As we walked to the beach we met lots of chickens and peacocks and even two little goats. We got to feed all of them! We stopped at the bar to get a drink of the way to the beach. The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were great. The beach is absolutely magnificent! The pigs are BIG and well cared for. They are so smart and friendly. Some of them even do tricks. The staff instructed us on how to feed them. They had 18 pigs on the island, and they rotated them out to us every 30 minutes. The staff members go out into the water and the pigs swim out to them. Then you can race the pigs back to shore. I was surprised at how fast they swim! It is very organized, and they staff has full control. Despite what people say about other tours there was ZERO "mess" from in the pigs in the water or on the beach. They are trained very well, and this is probably due to them being taken back to their quarters every 30 minutes. The buffet lunch was delicious and there were so many places to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. Thank you to all of the crew members and the animal handlers! You guys are awesome! And special thanks to Alex, who was so friendly and informative throughout the trip! We can't wait to come back and do it all again!

What an awesome, unique experience! The pigs were amazing and fun to interact with. We also enjoyed the snorkel tour and private beach. The staff was very attentive. Highly recommend.

We met at a Ferry dock near the Atlantis, greeted by a charming group that were part of the whole day experience. We were briefed on a boat safety and told how the day would flow. There was the opportunity to snorkel,kayak, swim and interact with the pigs. There was an open bar (in our package) and they served a BBQ of delicious food for lunch. The atmosphere was relaxed, pleasant and the washrooms were clean. Met some wonderful people and all of the staff were helpful and pleasant. Can't say enough about how much fun I had!

This was a very fun filled day. First of all, the staff was amazing. Everyone from the boat crew to the pig trainers & bartenders were very welcoming & friendly. The day was incredible overall & I would highly recommend this excursion. The Sandy Toes resort was beautiful. There were a couple of things I had slightly higher hopes for. First is the snorkeling was only offered as a one time experience & is done right when guests get off of the shuttle upon arrival to the island. This resulted in my boyfriend & I splitting apart as soon as we arrived because he wanted to snorkel & I did not. I wanted to go to the first pig experience. My boyfriend said the snorkeling experience was "so-so". You go as a group rather than exploring on your own. He said he looked up more than he looked down as he was worried he was going to get kicked in the face. On the day he snorkeled, there wasn't much to see in the water. I'm sure that varies based on the day/time you go. The other thing that was just slightly disappointing was that the pig experience seems a little orchestrated. The pigs on Rose Island do not roam free, they are kept in their habitat/home behind the scenes & a few at a time are brought out at certain times to interact. They are very food driven & are focused on their trainers, rather than freely mingling with the guests. I don't say any of this to turn people off. I just want to give an honest review. I am very glad we did this tour & felt it was worth the price. Oh and the lunch was really good too.

Loved swimming and interacting with the pigs. The staff were incredible. I would do it again in the future.

The staff was great and the facilities were really clean. Lots of safety precautions for the group snorkeling tour. Pigs were well cared for and trained better than our dogs. Would recommend

Awesome day great beach and food. Premium liquor for 29 dollars extra but worth it. Pigs are so sweet and trained.
