Savor Bologna's Secrets: Unforgettable Walking Food Tour
On our Secret Food Tour Bologna: we'll provide you with an unforgettable taste experience. We'll start with a traditional welcoming sweet. Then, we'll visit one of the oldest Salumeria of the city to learn more about the local meat products and the famous pastas. You'll enjoy: Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, Mortadella di Bologna and many more regional cold cuts in the oldest Osteria in the world with a glass of our local wine. Next we have planned a taste of fresh, handmade pasta made just for us at a local Trattoria, always with a glass of local wine (and a coffee, if you like it) Then we will visit the main local food market, called Quadrilatero, and we'll enjoy a tasting of different types of balsamic vinegar from Modena (8-12-25 years of aging) to discover how this amazing tradition is still deeply rooted in this region. Please note that we are not able to offer any gluten-free or vegan option yet.

We loved our food tasting experience! Our guide, Claire, was fantastic - super knowledgeable, funny, and willing to answer all of our questions. The tour does a great job of covering a variety of local food, and everything we had was delicious. They were quite accommodating of my allergy as well. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had a delightful culinary experience on our tour! Our guide, Claire, was very knowledgeable and entertaining, she gave us a lot of great insights and answered all of our questions. All of the food and wines were delicious and it was a fun way to see some parts of the city. They also did a nice job accommodating my severe allergy. Would highly recommend!

We had such a good time. Even though we live in Italy, we learned a lot. The food was delicious and the guide, Federica, was very friendly and knowledgeable. . We had the best gelato we’ve ever tasted.

Exceptional tour covering traditional Bologna foods and regional wines. Gabriele did a wonderful job explaining the history of the dishes and regional differences. Trip highlight.

The tour was incredible! It showed me the best of the best places in Bologna, an already amazing food city, that only the locals would know. Frederika was amazing! She not only coordinated and took care of us at each stop, she was knowledgeable of the food history and culture of Bologna. The tour exceeded my expectations by far!

I can honestly say that this was the best food tour that I have taken. Claire did a fabulous job not only explaining the food, but pointing out historic places/stories along the way. The choices of food selected by Claire and her team were outstanding. As described, we made 6 different stops for food during our tour. All of the choices were delicious. My favorites were the antipasti and pasta selections. There was ample food and wine to be enjoyed by all. Claire is an excellent host. She is engaging and does a great job making everyone feel welcome. I would highly recommend taking this tour. Thank you Claire!
