Breathtaking Etna & Taormina: Sicily's Iconic Full-Day Tour

We had a great time on the tour. The guide/driver Florence was very professional and fun. Gave a lot of good information as well as got us to all of the sites efficiently.

We had a fabulous tour with Salvador yesterday, he provided us different options once on Mt. Etna to accommodate the weather and the different skill and interests of our small group. We then had a great tasting at a small business then onto a wonderful and informative tour of Taormina. Highly recommend and plan to return to Mt. Etna.

Our Etna and Taormina tour was one of the most incredible experiences of our entire time in Sicily. Having a door-to-door shuttle for the whole day was a lifesaver. It allowed us to relax, enjoy the scenery, and take in everything without the stress. Mount Etna was absolutely unforgettable. We weren’t expecting snow, which made the entire experience feel even more magical and surreal. The highlight was ATVing through the unexpected snow, something we never imagined we’d be doing on an active volcano. It was thrilling, stunning, and unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before. After Etna, we headed to Taormina, which was pure magic. The views, the charm, the history, the food — it all felt straight out of a movie. We instantly fell in love with the town and kept saying over and over that we have to come back. One day was nowhere near enough, and we left dreaming about returning for a much longer stay. Between the ease of transportation, the breathtaking scenery, the unexpected adventure on Etna, and the enchantment of Taormina, this tour packed so much of Sicily’s beauty into a single perfect day. Highly, highly recommend — especially if you want unforgettable memories without the stress of navigating those mountain roads!

Salvatore was I learned more with Salvatore our guide than I did in four years of school, and all while desperately trying not to slip on rocks. Incredible experience!!

Salvo was a great tour guide- he was very professional and enthusiastic about his job and his country. Mt. Etna was a site to see even though the weather did not cooperate. We did the quad up the mountain (extra excursion) and that was great fun. Taormina was beautiful, wish we had more time there. I would recommend this tour!

Your tour includes a ride to Mt. Etna, trekking for 2 hours, a tasting, a trip to a lava tube, and a ride to Taormina. If you want to take the cable car up to Mt Etna, add 55euros/ person. If you want to go further by 4x4 bus make it and additional 32euros/person. The guide drops you off at one gate in Taormina with a map and picks you up at a different gate two hours later. No tour.

The tour was excellent, very well-managed and Salvo was super friendly and provided useful and valuable information along the way. Etna trip and Taormina were very beautiful and amazing places to visit. Lunch place was great with tasting. Highly recommended.

Very good tour. Unfortunately weather did not cooperate for the mount Etna part of the trip. Guide (Angelo) was friendly and knowledgeable.

Awesome trip, our guide Nando was very knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and friendly. We were lucky with the weather, went all the way up Mt.Etna (make sure you dress properly as it’s biting cold up at top), and walked thru the street of Taormina. Excellent time management and had a great time. Highly recommend it!

Our wonderful tour operator, Lorenzo, made the trip so enjoyable, keeping us entertained and sharing fascinating stories and cultural facts along the way. Just a heads-up — the cable car lift comes at an extra cost of €80 per person, which adds up for a family of three. Also, the wine tasting featured only two wines, so it didn’t quite match the full tasting experience mentioned in the description.
