Great, friendly guide; knowledgable and helpful with information on where to go, restaurants etc. However, we did feel this tour was a little thin on content and slightly rushed towards the end and was more expensive than comparable walking tours we have done in other cities. Caffe break and taster beer at the end were nice touches.

It was very nice having a guide that really knew what he was talking about. Our guide was engaging, knowledgeable, and well spoken. This tour was about 5000-6000 steps so not that bad on the amount of walking

This tour was the perfect way for us to see Melbourne for the first time! Our tour guide Emily was enthusiastic and passionate about the city and also made us feel welcome and comfortable on the tour. Loved the small group numbers as we didn't feel over whelmed with too many people in the group and we absolutely enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended tour. Thanks Emily & Hugo :)

Our tour with Emily was just fantastic. We walked all over Melbourne in the 3 hours and learned so much. Emily’s narrative was informative yet very personal. We went down alley ways that we would never have seen & into buildings that I wouldn’t have stopped at on my own. It was an amazing tour. Thank you Emily

What a wonderful way to get our orientation to the city of Melbourne and meet a small group of folks from all over. We covered alot of area, including being treated to a flat white coffee mid-your and beer at the end of the day.

Melbourne City Walking Tour with Ian – An Amazing Experience! I joined the Melbourne City Walking Tour guided by Ian, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! I’m from Beijing, China, and the other four visitors in my group were from the US and Canada. Even though I’m not a native English speaker, Ian made sure I was always part of the conversation. He patiently explained everything, checked that I understood, and made me feel completely included. Listening to Ian was like attending a fun and inspiring Australian history class. His passion and knowledge brought Melbourne’s landmarks — from The Hotel Windsor and Parliament House to Flinders Street Station and Chinatown — vividly to life. It was also my first time appreciating Melbourne’s laneway art, and I was amazed to learn that the famous Banksy had left his work here too! Ian even introduced us to Melbourne’s coffee culture and treated us to a “magical coffee,” which was such a delightful touch. Overall, this was an amazing and memorable tour. Ian is knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely cares about his guests. Highly recommended!

Ian was a great tour guide who set a good pacee for a mixed group of people - he got my 11 and 9 year old interested in their own city and they are still talking about Ned Kelly and debating if he was a hero or villain and the 3-year-old who got put in old Melbourne gaol! They also loved the laneway artwork!

From the beginning Emily the tour guide was welcoming, friendly relaxed bringing a great atmosphere together. So interesting and informative. Her passion for Melbourne really showed through the whole journey. With insights into the local culture and historical facts. Giving us lots of information to carry our stay on things to do in Melbourne across our holiday here. Thank you Emily you were amazing. Jo and Ian
