Baps Hindu Temple Tour in Abu Dhabi

This temple was amazing. Everything from the design and the layout of the temple was extraordinary. The gift shop was surprisingly very affordable. We had purchased 2 coffee mugs and 2 bottles and there were a bargain. Also, the day we went, the temperature reached 42 degrees celsius and they provided us with umbrellas for each person. It was very organised and professional. However the only bad thing I have to say is the queuing. Do not go peak times. There will be soo many people and a lot of people will push in. There is no concept of queuing. To conclude, this tour was very nice and the temple was amazing.

Security is always very high in Baps temples everywhere. Your guides and drivers should notify you that your belongings will be checked much the same as airport security. You are not allowed to take photos when inside the main temple. Best to leave your belongings and especially cigarettes and lighters in your car as it is a total no smoking zone. The security will dispose of these items. Even water bottles are not allowed and there is free water available inside. Sorry to read some bad reviews about this special place of worship from other visitors. Please remember that it is a religious place and it has some very simple rules to observe.

It was great to learn about how both cultures coexist (Muslim and Hindu). The temple was stunning and Manoj is a very knowledgeable guide! He explained everything about the temple, and extra details about Abu Dhabi and the culture.

Clean spiritual place of worship & viewing by all faiths with space taken up by other structures where to learn about religion, prayer & penance as well as a vegetarian restaurant where devotees can have a meal after darshan.
