Very informative and visually stunning views of northern Spain. Our guide, Alby, made the excursion fun and entertaining. One suggestion: bring comfortable walking shoes because some of the sites will require lengthy walks to truly appreciate the natural beauty of the coast line.

We had a brilliant experience with Paul our guide for the day. It was a great mix of nature and hearing about the history of what happened in Gernika, which was pretty sobering. Our guide Paul was especially helpful and knowledgeable and caring too. He spoke brilliant English and we learnt a lot from him and about the Basque region. Highly recommend! The views and beautiful countryside were very engaging but yes, it is a tough walk at Gaztelugatxe but Paul applied no pressure and you felt able to do it at your own pace.

My son and I went on this amazing excursion. We had the best time meeting other people and our guide Paul was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was definitely a hike to get there and back but Paul was patient and even helped carry my bag. After the trip he gave us recommendations where to eat. It was a great day my son and I will never forget! Thank you

This tour was both beautiful and educational. Our guide Paul was very kind and thoughtful throughout the tour and especially in his telling of the historical and present day importance of Gernika. Gaztelugatxe Is breathtaking and well worth the steep walk. Thank you for an excellent experience!

Fabulous tour with our guide Paul. He is a wealth of information on all the places we visited. Paul was attentive and very helpful as the walk up to and back down from the lookout point and church at Gaztelugatxe can be a challenge. Bonus points, we all know how to pronounce Gaztelugatxe! We enjoyed our excursion with Paul!

Our trip to San Juan Gaztelugatxe and Gernika was everything we hoped it would be. Both locations were very beautiful and Ana was an excellent guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very passionate about Basque and Spanish history. She also gave us several recommendations af things to do and places to visit. Thank you Ana for an amazing day!

Amazing views, good timing to see Gaztelugatxe before crowds arrived. Gernika was a nice surprise with rich historical components aside from a tragic story. Excellent pintxos spot in Gernika. Ana was very attentive and conscientious!

Once again Ana was very knowledgeable about Gaztelugatxe and Guernika and her English is perfect. I feel so comfortable, safe and happy doing her tours. I feel I have learnt so much and loved all of the experiences we had. A visit to The Assembly House of Gernika was well worth it as was everything we did. Ana helped us other our pintxos abd drinks and I feel we spent the right amount of time on each activity.
