Cairo Pyramids Flight: Ultimate Day Tour from Red Sea

A very long but amazing day! After receiving a message saying we'd be collected at 03:20 I almost cancelled, but I am so glad I didn't! After we were collected we headed to the airport and given clear instructions. Once we landed in Cairo our guide was there to meet us. Wed arrived a little earlier than expected so we were told traffic was better than usual as it normally takes around 90 minutes to get to the pyramids (just for those thinking of booking). I appreciated that it didn't take that long as we'd already had just over an hour on our transfer and then 75 minutes on the flight. We explored the pyramids, the sphinx, and then headed to a couple of local shops. One selling perfume and the other selling paintings, both of which were beautiful. After this it was time for lunch with views of the pyramids, then we visited the museum of Egypt and old Cairo. By the time we finished we were so tired, but so glad we did it. My advice if you book this trip - wear comfortable shoes!! There is A LOT of walking. - take suncream (I made that mistake, but you can take it on the flight) - Pack snacks. Its a long day And finally - make sure you have an early night beforehand

Flew early in the morning from Hurghada and arrived in Cairo as the sun came up. We were met by Mr Fami in Cairo who was to be our tour guide for the day. All day he was excellent and so helpful. We started off at the pyramids and Sphinx. Then had a nice lunch followed by Nile river cruise then the Museum. The day was finished off by a walking tour thru Cairo old town. Highly recommended trip.

This was a family trip and we had an excellent time in Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan, Luxor, Nile Cruise and finally to Sharm El-Sheikh. Reem Atweel organized our complete itinerary in Egypt and she also was an excellent guide.

Pick up time was advised day before and contact details provided via what’sap. Arrived on time and transfer to airport was prompt. Airport and flight was very easy if a little confusing at first as not having any paperwork was unusual but the airport are very used to these trips and there really was nothing to worry about. Flight on time and airplane was a great experience think it only held about 40 of us. Met by our guide Fahmy who was outstanding. Only 8 of us in our group which was amazing. Fahmy was vey knowledgable and kept us entertained all day. Mohammed our driver got us everywhere safely which was a feat in itself as the traffic is crazy!! The whole day was perfect from start to finish and I would heartily recommend taking this trip if you want to do exactly what it says in its description. There is a lot of walking and I want to say a special thank you to Fahmy for making sure I was ok, he helped me when the terrain was a bit uneven as i have an injured knee and he stopped at times so I could rest and got everyone around us to tell us some history etc never making me feel like I was slowing everyone down, thank you.

Booked this trip and purposely selected the 6am pick up time, contacted the tour operator in Egypt and agreed flight times via WhatsApp 2 months before the trip 19 hours before the trip received confirmation from the tour operator and completely different times to what we had agreed - 3.30am pickup not 6am Tour operator refused to change flights and as we had less than 24 hours we could not cancel and get a refund (thus trip was nearly £600) Contacted Viator who did very little - tried to contact the your operator who completely ignored them until they knew we had left to go in the terminal (can't afford to lose nearly £600) both Viator and tour operator unprofessional and not bothered about any of this The trip it's self had good point but is unnecessarily dragged out so they can take you to local shops to sell you tourist stuff. The optional extras are not really optional - if you don't do the boat trip you will spend more time sat on a bus or stood in the sun waiting for everyone else, at the pyramids if you don't pay for the camel rides you don't really have anything to do as 3 hours is too long to spend there. I thought I had booked the trip I wanted with the flight times that suited our family by agreeing everything in advance in writing and selecting the later time when booking but all this was completely ignored and deliberately after the cancellation cut off. No support is available from Viator and the fact that the tour operator would not respond to them makes you concerned what would have happened in an emergency My advice - find a reputable local company who will honour what you agree and deliver the trip you book

A good trip to the Pyramids and Museum with a very knowledgeable guide. Things to consider are, this is a very long day with a lot of walking. We didn’t have long enough at the pyramids to see all of them properly before we had to leave and we were ushered to a perfumery and then on to a papyrus demonstration both of which were not really on our agenda. Although lunch was included there was no time to stop for another meal which was needed as we left the hotel at 3.30am and did not return until after 10pm. Despite this, it was good to experience Cairo and Giza

Our tailor-made excursion to the Egyptian Pyramids was absolutely perfect! Our guide Ahmed was amazing — very active, energetic, and attentive. He shared lots of interesting facts, helped with everything we needed, and truly made the day special, following all our wishes. The tour also showed us the many sides of Cairo — its bright and lively atmosphere, as well as its more authentic, darker corners, which made the experience even more fascinating and real. Thanks to Ahmed, we discovered Egypt in a deep and memorable way. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting! 🇪🇬✨

We booked the Cairo tour for our first trip to Egypt- Ahmed and our driver Moufassa were brilliant. Ahmed was friendly and informative throughout the trip. Taking us to the pyramids, sphinx and the museum. His knowledge was brilliant. We opted for a camel ride at the pyramids which was a surreal experience and a river boat rides on the Nile which was beautiful. The mini bus was clean and air conditioned for the blazing heat, we got picked up from the airport in Cairo and taken back at the end of the day. The whole day was a great experience

Fantastic day seeing remaining wonder of the world. Organisation for entire day was first class. No pressure to buy additional things. Make sure do pyramids first
