Magical London: Ultimate Harry Potter Film Locations Tour

We did the Harry Potter Walking Tour yesterday, starting at King’s Cross Station by the Harry Potter Shop, and it was such a great experience! Our guide, Kate, was fantastic – she had so much insider knowledge about the films and the books, and she kept the tour really interactive by asking fun questions like “Do you remember this scene?” or “Which movie was this from?”. The walk itself was very pleasant, not too long or tiring, and Kate’s personality made it even better – she was calm, friendly, and not too loud or over the top, just really nice to be around. She also showed us a few other interesting landmarks along the way, which was a lovely bonus. I would definitely recommend this tour to any Harry Potter fan (or even if you’re just visiting London). Kate was a wonderful guide, and we had such an enjoyable time!

Great experience and highly recommend this tour! Oliver was amazing and very interactive! Not only did he show us Harry Potter parts of London but all showed us some main attractions too!

It was very factual and interesting, but since there was protest we were not able to see all the sights which was a little disappointing but the tour guide was very nice so overall the experience was good.

Oliver was great, terrific value for what we got. More than expected. Got London history along with Harry Potter facts and saw parts of the city we wouldn’t have otherwise.

Just completed this fantastic Harry Potter tour with Sam as our guide, and it exceeded all expectations! Sam was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining throughout the entire 2.5-hour experience. The tour took us to amazing filming locations including Diagon Alley, the iconic stone wall entrance, and Scotland Yard. What made this tour truly special was visiting the actual movie locations - it felt like stepping right into the wizarding world! Sam was exceptional - very clear and well-articulated, making it easy for everyone in the group to follow along and hear every detail. The group size was perfect and the organization was flawless from start to finish. The real highlight was when Sam showed video clips from the films at each location. This was such a fun addition that really jogged our memory and helped us visualize the scenes that were filmed right where we were standing. Those magical moments made the experience unforgettable! Even though we didn't have kids with us, I can definitely see why this tour is perfect for families, especially with kids joining free. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone - families, couples, or Harry Potter fans of any age. No downsides whatsoever - this tour delivered everything promised and more. Sam made it an absolutely magical experience that brought the films to life. Highly recommended!

The experience was wonderful, and the tour was definitely value for money. Kate kept us fully engaged for the full 3 hours of the tour and ensured everyone was involved despite the big crowd size.

Had a great time with Kate as our guide, she was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun, the only thing I would suggest to improve the tour is the meeting point, it says to meet at platform 9 and 3/4 however there are loads of tourists milling about and as the guides don’t wear anything to say they are our guides we found ourselves loitering trying to see who was standing around longest, maybe some form of high vis or lanyard to say they are with Viator would be helpful,. However once we found Kate we were off and the 3 hours flew by!

Fun and gets the steps in, Kate was very knowledgeable and kept us informed at all times, she was open to all questions and made the tour fun, 3 hours for £15 each. Bargain, we would do it again. I’m first to get her question right lol number 1 student 😃

I took my 10 year old Harry Potter fan son on the 9.30am Sunday tour. This was a great time to visit as it was far quieter than other days and times in the city. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring both familiar and new parts of London while learning Potter film facts along the way. Kate was a friendly, informative and approachable guide who clearly enjoys leading the tours as much as the participants enjoy taking them. Thank you for a great morning, would highly recommend, even if you’re not a huge Potter fan!
