Breathtaking Cozumel Snorkel: Chankanaab Marine Park

Great experience ! Though I have snorkeled before, this is the first time I have seen so many fish and great time looking at them.

Leo is an excellent guide he knows the best places to find color tropical fishes in Chankanaab and the sculptures under water

We pre-booked directly with this adventure park and took cabs from the cruise port at end of July 2025. We were greeted by name at a separate entrance for those with reservations.we received top notch service by all the staff at the beach side and with the staff at the Hungry Krab restaurant. Shout out to Edgar our server and Alvaro for arranging our taxi. Snorkeling had plenty of space and fish, sting ray, crab, conch shells, lobster to explore and close enough to even touch. We had chairs with umbrellas and able to walk around. We later found out our wristband bundle ($40/p) we got with admission, snorkel gear + lunch (2 drinks per person including selected alcohol) did not include the pool area. We did have our own chairs, umbrellas and table. The food portions were large and adequate variety. We were able to walk on the outside to see the dolphin swim area. Plenty of space, hammocks and picture spots. Lots of entry points for snorkeling along the shore, This was our second time here and it did not disappoint! Def worth going for the price and atmosphere!

Great in-crowded experience with a short 20 minute $15 taxi ride. Would have been better to have had the cab ride included. Snorkel equipment was good, water clear and lounge chairs right on the water. The comp margaritas just topped it off!

I recommend this highly for anyone who wants to come to Chankanaab Park resort. Snorkeling with this company was very fun. Everyone should try it.

Had a great time on this adventure with the guys from MJ dive shop. Easy $20 cab ride from the port to Chankanaab, where we showed our passes and waited for ~5 mins for our guide to meet us. Leo kindly showed us through the park and explained the Mayan history, which was super cool to learn. Once at the dive shop, Filipe, Willie, and Alvaro were there for us every step of the way to ensure we had a good time in the water. It was my 6 & 8 year olds’ first time snorkeling and this was a great beach to learn. Sit on the steps and put your head in the water: fish. Swim out a little and there is a cool (and kinda creepy) statue of Jesus sunken in the water. Food is plentifully available, drinks are as well, and we ended up spending ~3 hours snorkeling and hanging on the beach. Sellers are present but not pushy. Overall a great experience! Do bring strong, sports sunscreen… the sun is different down here.

For the price, this is a must DO! Snorkeling is right off the beach and there were tons of fish to see. It was not crowded and lots of beach chairs and umbrellas! Outstanding service from the staff. The lunch was very delicious. There were nice hammocks also!

Leonel and Juan were amazing, all inclusive meal was not great watered down drinks, snorting was great Leonel always checked to male sure we were ok and took his time to explain

Our host Arvalo and snorkel guide Felipe were so nice and accommodating. Mjs was the name of their area of the resort. The place is not fancy but the number of places to relax were plentiful! We felt safe during the snorkel and was pleasantly surprised on how many varieties of sea life we saw. We got lucky and a huge ray lumbered under us as we explored ! In my opinion this was the best snorkel experience for me in the Caribbean not counting Bonaire ! Recommend this wholeheartedly.
