What an amazing experience!! We’ve never surfed before and Terry is great, he was very patient and he got me and my boyfriend up on our boards quickly and we had a fantastic day!! Definitely recommend the private lesson if it’s your first time!

My daughter (18) had a great time and I enjoyed hanging out on the beach enjoying the incredible weather.

Terry makes it a great experience with his wealth of knowledge of every beach in the area! His constant feedback to improve your surfing is a real added bonus and I feel like I left with more confidence than any other lesson I’ve had. Great person with great chats and the worlds friendliest dog.

Surfing with the crew in Byron Bay was epic—super chill vibes, but totally pro. The guys were fun, friendly, and knew their stuff. Great time all around!

The tour advertised that pickup was included, but that wasn’t the case. I was informed that the surfing session was at 12 pm, not 10 am, despite booking for 10 am. I only found out when I called in the morning, which was less than ideal. The whole experience seemed poorly organized, with everything feeling out of place. Terry, the instructor, was good, but he was more focused on other instructors making mistakes than on guiding us. Overall, the surfing experience could have been much better.

I had a really great time, also now understand the basics of how to surf. Terry was amazing patient and chatty.

Very mixed feelings about this activity. Boss was very rude to his staff and not very professional. On the other hand our instructor was very good and managed to get beginners to stand up many times which we were very pleased with. Equipment was very poor. Boards were rough and some had been badly repaired.
