The tour was memorable one. Was missing it but booked at the last minute and really we enjoyed the sites and tour. The bus was very comfortable and the driver drove the bus so smoothly. The tour guide Eva is a wonderful person having detailed knowledge of the sites. She is very caring too. We enjoyed her company very much. Our special thank you to her for detailed history review about the sites. The restaurant where we were taken for lunch too was wonderful. We are vegetarian and were worried about getting required food but they had good options in vegetarian food too and we enjoyed. Finally it was a unique experience which we were going to miss. My thank you to the team involved especially Drivers and tour guide Eva. God bless

It’s a loooong day with a lot of driving. We saw all of Greece in a day which was amazing. Greece doesn’t seem to look after its ancient ruins as well as Rome does. Many are ruined by caravan parks etc

So I had read he reviews ahead of time and was prepared for most of the negative…on the bus all day…crowded…somewhat dilapidated…but I couldn’t figure out a better way to see metereo for a decent price so I went anyway. It was all true and I’m sitting in the bus watching couples come on at the last stop who clearly had not read the reviews and it was like the scenes in ww2 movies when prisoners have been told they are going on vacation and get on the train and the horror starts to sink in. Why don’t they make solo riders ride with solo riders so couples can be together? Probably explains why the bus was dead silent for 4 hours! Try to get on at the very first stop. So the bus ride was as expected. We get to town and meet our guide Riki (who was great) and go to lunch. Skip the lunch!!! It was horrible! I had some dry chicken and soggy fries with a sauce so garlicky I didn’t touch it for fear I would never be kissed again! Walk into the town and grab a pizza or something instead because this food was terrible. We started our journey up the mountain and were given the audio guides. These feel unnecessary as Riki told us almost everything again. The monasteries and views are the reason to go so if that’s your goal you won’t be disappointed! Unless you love hiking like me and you find out you could do a hike and 300 steps to see the coolest monetary, except you can’t because you’re stuck on this tour… Also, also a pant wearing lesbian I resented having to put on the stupid skirt (what if I was intersex - they did do a genital check?) but I did it and now have some funny pictures. I also saw a bro about 20 wearing one as a joke and it made me feel better. The ride back was quiet and the food at the rest stop is terrible (the pastries are pretty good) but all in all I’m glad I went. I’m here in Athens a week and it was a nice day trip to see something unforgettable!! I would recommend a different tour if there was a better one, but I couldn’t find one so this didn’t trick. I hope this review is helpful!

Wonderful tour to Meteora with our guide Eva. Superb views, 2 interesting monasteries visited, tasty lunch at a local restaurant, 2 short breaks on the journey, informed and interesting guide, comfortable bus!

Amazing! The beauty of the Monasteries, the architecture, the detail unbelievable! The tour guide Eva was so nice, friendly and informative. Even the bus driver was nice. I wanted to tip her but unfortunately, she didn't return back to Athens with us, there was a switch in staff.

We were on our way to Meteora when we received a call for early check in for our flight. The bus driver, the manager and everyone ( including the taxi driver) did their best to get us on time to the airport. The company called a taxi for waiting for us upon our first break . We want to thank you once again. We will get to the Meteora one day.

A great day away from athen! Amazing landscapes and very interesting!! Really thankful we did it!! Not many places to get a meal for such a long day. Our one stop in small town we were able to have an amazing lunch!! The bus does make a stop at service center both ways for 25 min where you can grab to go food. The sites were absolutely amazing!

Overall nice but tiring and technical. You spend about 10 or 11 of the endless 14 hours on the bus. 4 hours getting there, 4 back, and most of the time between breaks, lunch and visitng the monasteries. The guide was nice, but you could tell it's her gazzillionth time delivering the same routine. The audio guides along the way were meh. Meteora itself is very beautiful, the monasteries are amazing, but alsoyoure pretty quickly are done with them. They are set like a quick visit from semi-interesting place to another. The lunch on the way was not good, and should have just went for a sandwich from home or a gyro somewhere. The ride back was tough for me, and prayed to the gods to make it go quicker. No doubt Meteora is worth the visit, for its beauty and uniqueness, yet the whole experience felt artificle and technical.

Once the tour guide joined the bus it was great, she was fantastic ! The trip to and from was long with no acess to radio or any details or history of the area. The bus was past its use by date with ripped seats, no charging usb ports and strong musty smell, lunch was average. Stop was rushed and very busy hardly had time to use the wash rooms and have a coffee!
