Paradise Valley & Taghazout: Morocco's Oasis-to-Ocean Escape

Great experience from start to finish. Pickup was convenient and time flexible (Tripadvisor lists 9 AM as the pickup time, but we were able to start at 10 AM instead) from our hotel in Taghazout. Abdell was a great tour guide with plenty of knowledge about Taghazout village and Paradise Valley. On the road between Agadir and Paradise Valley, we made a stop at a local argan oil and honey producer, where Abdell had a pre-negotiated discount on the entire store. At Paradise Valley, we did a short 15-minute hike to a great view of Paradise Valley and the surrounding mountains. After the hike, we settled in and had crepes and smoothies right by the river. We even had 2 cats snuggle up with us on the couch! All told, this is a great, intimate experience I would recommend to anyone in the Agadir/Taghazout area.

We had an incredible experience using the Go Travel Morocco guide with our agent, Abdel. From the start, everything was smooth, friendly, and tailored to our interests. We visited the stunning Atlas Mountains and Paradise Valley, including a charming botanical garden where we saw how authentic argan oil is traditionally made. We even picked up some argan oil and local honey to take home. Though the company doesn’t usually offer a quad biking excursion to a small Sahara area, they kindly honoured our request—and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We wrapped up our journey with a visit to the laid-back coastal village of Taghazout. Overall, it was a personalized and unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Abdell and our driver were on the money from the moment they picked us up at our hotel. They have a passion for the country and it’s infectious. You get out what you put in but if don’t enjoy this you really need to get some help. A very relaxing time and some amazing sights. Can not recommend highly enough, love Morocco and the people.
