East Sicily Private Tour: Catania's Hidden Gems 4 Days

Mimmo was a wonderful guide who made our trip fabulous! He was very thoughtful and knowledgeable about Sicily! He earned our trust by helping us make the right decisions. He took us off the beaten path as we had asked and showed us things we never would have found. His recommendations were spot on and his transportation first class. We spent three full days with Mimmo seeing as much as possible from our base in Catania - and it was all terrific. We came to Sicily with no preparation and if was a joy to learn about the cities and sites we visited and being challenged by Mimmo to truly consider what we were seeing and it’s significance. Mimmo puts a great tour together, suggested great places to eat, arranged a lunch and wine tasting. He convinced us to change our itinerary to go to Noto - great move. We enjoyed it all and will certainly seek out Mimmo when we return to see the several areas of Sicily we did not see this time around! Thanks Mimmo.

Mimmo guided us through Eastern Sicily for four days and three nights. We are not 'tour people' but we cannot imagine a better introduction to this fascinating and complex part of the world. The tour was organized around our interests, the vehicle was in perfect condition, the itinerary logical and varied. Mimmo knows the country intimately - the history, the agriculture, the geology and geography, the food, culture, the past and the contemporary. He is curious about everything and conveys his knowledge clearly and engaged all four of us throughout. I cannot recommend his services strongly enough. If you have the chance to spend some time with him seeing Sicily I urge you to do so.
