Breathtaking Bai Tu Long: Swan Cruise Luxury Escape (2D/1N)

A truly fantastic experience! I was initially disappointed that there were no spaces to visit Ha Long Bay, but I am so glad I ended up on this trip. Firstly, the itinerary is excellent and the scenery absolutely beautiful. You are incredibly well fed throughout the trip, and the food is fantastic. Finally, every single person, from the tour guide to the boat crew, were so helpful and attentive.

From start to finish, our trip with Swan cruise in Bai Tu Long bay was nothing short of spectacular. The cruise itself was beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and authentic charm. The itinerary was well - paced, allowing us to enjoy the stunning scenery without feeling rushed. A special thanks to our tour guide, Tommy who was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and full of positive energy. His insights about the bay, local culture, and history made the trip even more meaningful. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and having a great time ⭐️ We also want to give a huge shoutout to Evan, the cruise manager, whose professionalism and warm hospitality. He made very nice video about our 10 years anniversary. He managed every detail with such grace and ensured the entire experience ran smoothly 👍 Bai Tu Long bay is more peacefully and less touristy alternative to Ha Long Bay, Swan cruise is one of the best cruise. Highly recommend it - especially with an incredible teak like Tommy and Evan leading the way 🍀

The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. Sunday, our guide was a gentleman, caring for all of his guests from the very beginning, and nothing was too much of a bother. He got in touch beforehand confirming puck up details, answering any questions about the two days, and was just so so helpful. The bus journeys there and back to Ha Long Bay were very smooth and the bus most comfortable. Once on board, we were treated like VIPs by the Swan Cruise staff - being welcomed with a wonderful smile and refreshing drinks. The rooms were well appointed, clean and airy. The various activities were great fun and carefully selected and managed. The food was a culinary delight, and all dietary requirements were not a problem. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful tour operator. Sunday, our guide just made it making us feel so very special. Really great 2 days spent on the Swan Cruises boat travelling round Bai Tu Long Bay. So much quieter than Ha Long Bay with only 13 boats per day allowed on the bay. Just perfect. Staff were so helpful and the food was amazing (so much!). Tommy our guide was absolutely fantastic, it’s obvious how much he enjoys his job and I thoroughly enjoyed his enthusiasm!

We took a 2 day 1 night cruise to Bai Tu Long bay. Vietnam in general has a litter problem and Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long bay are no exception. There was a constant stream of plastic floating on the water as we sailed through the bay. Part of our trip included kayaking to a nearby beach to swim. Good luck to anyone who fancied swimming, the water had a film of oil on the surface and the beach was strewn with litter. What saddens me more than anything is that these boat trips are a multi-million pound operation with over 300 boats a day sailing and yet no one seems to be taking any responsibility for cleaning the bay. Our whole reason for visiting was to see the natural beauty and our experience was ruined by the litter.

The cruise around Ha Long Bay was a must do whilst visiting Vietnam but I think we have done better things. The weather didn’t help it was cloudy, misty and visibility was poor. The staff were very efficient and friendly, Kent the guide was great, but the schedule is packed no time for relaxing, lots of food, plus kayaking, cooking demonstration, karaoke, walking etc

We had a fantastic experience on the Swan Cruise, and our guide, Sunday (Phoć), made it even better! The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, offering a perfect mix of activities like kayaking, swimming, fishing, a cooking class, tai chi, and exploring stunning caves. Every moment was engaging and well-organized, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of Halong and Bai Tu Long Bay. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the food was truly exceptional – some of the best meals we had during our trip. The only suggestion I’d make is to adjust the timing of the kayaking activity. It was scheduled immediately after lunch, and a couple of hours of downtime beforehand would have been ideal. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I’d highly recommend Swan Cruise to anyone visiting Vietnam!

Our guide Tommy was by far the best aspect of this trip. He was smart and funny with a keen interest in geology, zoology angle geo politics, he was able to identify squid and a flying fish in the waters surrounding our boat and was able to talk at length about the phenomena which resulted in the rock formations in Bai Tu Long bay. His English was unusually good, with correct pronunciation and grammar, on occasion he corrected our English! In a sensitive way of course! Without Tommy our rating would have been lower. Thanks Tommy.
