Breathtaking Chenonceau Castle Hot Air Balloon, France

We had the most amazing hot air balloon trip. The whole team was very professional and extremely friendly. We enjoyed being involved in the setting up and putting away of the balloon but the very best part of the trip was the incredible flight over Chateau de Chenonceau. We can not recommend this experience highly enough to anyone visiting the area.

Our pilot (don’t remember his name, from Ukraine) was fantastic! He had great wit, and was very conversational. He was very entertaining! Instructions and information were given in French and English so that everyone could participate. No one was left out of conversation or tasks. This hot air balloon ride more than fulfilled my vision for this bucket list item.

Our hot air balloon ride was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, the staff made the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and safe. They were welcoming, well-organized, and incredibly informative—taking the time to explain the process, safety precautions, and what to expect during the flight. Our pilot was clearly very experienced and well-trained, which made all the difference. From lift-off to landing, everything felt calm and controlled. We never once felt uneasy—in fact, the ride was so peaceful it was easy to forget how high up we were! Floating silently over the landscape while the sun lit up the horizon was a magical experience. The views were breathtaking and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and awe-inspiring.

We had such an amazing time the team. They were very informative and patient with our group of 11. Even with one of our group being afraid of heights they were quite understanding. The snacks after the flight were very refreshing and delicious.

Our tour guides were excellent! Entertaining, thoughtful and lovely. We had a gorgeous flight and a wonderful experience!
