1. The Franschhoek Motor Museum is a showcase of over 100 years of automotive history. Located in the winelands of Franschhoek, South Africa, the museum features a collection of around 220 vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and even tractors. The vehicles are spread across four display halls, each representing a different era of motoring. Some of the highlights of the collection include a 1902 De Dion Bouton, a 1913 Cadillac, a 1929 Bentley, and a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO. The museum also has a workshop where visitors can see restoration work in progress.

3. Admission to the museum is by guided tour only. Tours depart every hour from 10 am to 4 pm. The cost of the tour is ZAR 120 for adults and ZAR 60 for children (ages 3-12). Children under 3 are free. The museum is located about an hour’s drive from Cape Town, and there is free parking on site. Visitors can also take a shuttle service from Franschhoek village for an additional fee.
