Sehr gute Organisation und gute Kommunikation. Das war bisher die beste Tour. Die Landschaft ist unglaublich schön, unser Tourguide Nicolas war super freundlich, hat angeboten, Fotos von mir an den besten Punkten zu machen. Als Alleinreisende ist das sehr angenehm. 👌 Das Essen, das inkludiert war, war ausgezeichnet. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten einen tollen Tag mit Horizonte Atacama, was insbesondere an unserem super Guide Ivan und dem Fahrer Daniele lag! Die Tour war super organisiert und Ivan hat uns mit einer Menge Informationen sowohl auf englisch als auch auf spanisch versorgt. Auch für das leibliche Wohl wurde gesorgt. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

This was one of our favourite day tours and we really enjoyed having Daniel as our guide. He was funny, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and passionate as he showed us the best of the lagoons and flamingos on a tour of about 400 kilometres. The first stop was just before sunrise where we had a good breakfast (Daniel makes terrific scrambled eggs) as the sun came up outside the Chaxa Lagoon, home of flamingos. It was beautiful as were all of the sights we saw later in the mountains. There were plenty of vicuna and seeing rhea was a bonus. A good lunch was provided and we were back in San Pedro after a full day of exploring which was never rushed.

We had the BEST day trip with Whipala Expeditions, hosted by our guide Javier. The tour lasted around 11 hours but it felt like time flew by, without being rushed. The tour is planned to perfection & flowed very well, lots of stops at incredible sights, with a very lovely breakfast included. We travelled in a very comfortable bus with a small group size. Javier’s knowledge of the region, Chile & the world as a whole is second to none. He fluently spoke Spanish, English & Portuguese and made an effort to ensure everyone felt included at all times. The tour company was very easy to book through (we booked directly via their website) and was transparent that admission fees to the park needed to additionally be paid upon arrival/prior to tour. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Whipala Expeditions, and in particular Javier whose passion as a tour guide shines through, to anyone we know.

We did 3 trips with this company all were excellent. There's an overwhelming choice of companies . This one is very impressive ; Above all small groups Plenty of time to really experience places ( lots of others rushed people ) Knowledgable experienced team of driver / guides who had been doing the job for a while . Supportive of All members of the group regardless of age Good range of trips running on many days in the week

I arrived in San Pedro de Atacama after the 3 days tour from Salar de Uyuni and was wondering what I can see more in SPA after all this beauty. The Whipala agency recommended me this tour and I must say I was amazed how different and how beautiful it was. The tour is very well organized, our guide Javier was fantastic and it was a fantastic day. I fully recommend it.

I had a great time doing this tour with Whipala. Our guide, Manuel, was very thorough in his explanations. He gave us all the facts about the lagoons, the geology of the place, local animals, and the villages we crossed along the way. We were a mixed group of Spanish speakers and English speakers, and he translated everything about the tour. I absolutely recommend doing your tour with them!!

The tour was ok, the booking experience was easy, the guide was nice. But the hygiene situation is really poor. There are multiple bathroom breaks, but not one of those bathrooms has water, which means everyone around you keeps peeing but not washing their hands after. And then you share servings from the same breakfast which feels a bit gross since half the people have not washed their hands after going to the toilet. Individual packed sandwiches or something like that would be better given the situation. The bathroom at the restaurant where we stopped for lunch is also filthy and has no soap. So it is important to carry your own water and sanitizer. And the car in all tours in Chile are a bit cramped as well. Expected a better experience for the price, but it was fine if the hygiene and space doesn’t bother you.

This was an amazing experience! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and informative, willing to answer any of our questions. The views are beautiful and it the information shared very insightful. I was worried about the drive as I get motion sickness easily, but the guide drove carefully and checked that we were all doing ok frequently. We ended up booking three tours with this company, so far we have done two of them (this one and the El Tatio geysers tour) and have been impressed so far! They have great communication, with both the tour agency itself and with the guides, so would recommend this company!
